waylandcool Posted July 3, 2012 Author Share Posted July 3, 2012 And I'm finally back with an update. This project got back burnered because I had to get another chassis. There were some fit issues with the first one and the changes needed to make it fit would have wrecked the first chassis since it was completed. Basically, the body was getting hung up on the rear wheel wells and not fitting properly. I picked up a new donor kit (a '91 Grand Prix, same exact chassis as the 81 Grand Prix I started with) and between work and outdoor events, here's where I am. New chassis, complete with trimmed rear wheel wells: and the body is painted and ready for a shot of gloss clear tonight: Quote Link to post Share on other sites
