From what I read, it was a trial program and only a few actual went into service. Were any used after Desert Storm? I don't recall seeing any pics of Enigma's from the 2003 invasion. I would have rather seen a Type 59 with the later upgrades (sandskirts, laser rangefinder, slat brackets on the turret, etc). Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Tankcommander Posted February 4, 2012 Share Posted February 4, 2012 There were used in Desert Storm, I remember seeing one in Aberdeen after the war, I don't believe many were used at all.
