zipper
Hi All, I want to put a Travel Pod on my CAF CF-188 Hornet but was wondering if they use the MXU-648 Travel Pod or is it something different. Any help much appreciated. Many Thanks, Ashley

DONG
Same pod that comes in the 1/48 and 1/32 Hasegawa F-16 kits.
Finn
The CF-18 luggage carriers were left over BLU-1/B fire bombs, a drawing is here: http://maic.jmu.edu/ordata/FullImage.asp?Image=images\B\B0939U07.JPG although the nose section is a bit too long in the picture but if you were to use 2 tail sections, then you'd get proper shape of the pod. bdt13
I didn't take these focusing on the pod, but there are some details visible that may be of use to you. Link to the second picture, much higher resolution. These were taken 8/11/07 at the Thunder over Niagara Airshow, Niagara Falls, NY, USA. Plane is CF-188A 188748 of 425 Sqn.
