1/24 Hasegawa Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD ST185

In my standards this build proved to be a rather fast one. Apart from some extra details, no major corrections were needed (even the higher ground clearance was easily executed). The cockpit was enhanced with some wires and piping, a battery and, most importantly, a spare wheel. Something was added on the outside as well, but these were detailed on the WIP thread (here:

This car conquered the second place on the 1993 Safari Rally right behind the winner, four-time world champion and a fellow Finn, Juha Kankkunen. For Markku Alen, this rally was to be his last podium, all in all 56th during his extremely successful career.

The snorkel was covered with carbon decal from Tuner Model Manufactory. I spent almost two weeks getting the stuff conform with the figures of the snorkel. The decal solution did its job though.
