toniosky
Hi there, I am looking for pictures of the Heinkel 70 interior (military and/or civilian version). Also, is there any books/articles on this plane except for the Perfiles Aeronauticos 3 and Soldiers Raids #21 ? Thank you for your help ! Antoine
mossieramm
Hi Antoine, There are a few exterior pictures around, but I haven't been able find interior shots either. The only I have is a cockpit shot in "Cockpit Profile 3 - Heinkel Junkers-Zweiter Weltkrieg". I am not aware of any other books about the He-70 apart from the two you mention. Of course there are various models around with interiors, if that works for you. David
toniosky
Thanks for looking David. I wonder how much kit manufacturers use the "artistic license" to prepare their kits if there is no documentation available  Edited February 7, 2012 by toniosky
Grant in West Oz
I knew these were on one of my old HDDs. Note that the canopy is offset to the left. G
dogsbody
Why do all the images say it's the XA-22 Maryland? There are two throttle levers on the left side of the cockpit, not one, as would be found in the single-engined Heinkel He-70.
Grant in West Oz
Ow! That's what you get for not reviewing files in folders. Thanks. Back to the search. I was pretty keen for those to be He-70 pics. G
Barnsleybill
I can't find any reference to surviving machines in museums. Are there any left in Spain as the information I have is that they flew there until the 1950's??
dogsbody
It's not easy to find He70 cockpit images out there. I have this one on an old disc, but I don't remember where it came from.
