Neo
Inice paint job I normally remove the tape before the paint is dry Could also be your psint was too thick try to thin it more Edited August 18, 2012 by Neo
Devilleader501
When peeling tape off get it off before the paint is dry and also pull the tape off at a 45 degree angle away from the wet paint and you should not have that problem again. Great looking paint scheme though cant wait to see it finished. Edited August 18, 2012 by Devilleader501
xavi84
Painting orange over white SUCKS!!!! Why couldn't the navy painted their planes any other combination of colors. But I finally got a result that I'm happy with. Edited August 20, 2012 by xavi84

xavi84
I'm getting close to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on this build. I added the black to it last weekend.
xavi84
So, last night I was coming home from my local clubs monthly meeting and THIS happened. I was fumbling around with my keys to open the door when I dropped it on my concrete porch splitting it right down the seam. I know it can be fixed but after this my heart just isn't in it anymore. I'm thinking of just boxing it up and moving on to something different.
IrishGreek
OUCH. I feel your pain. Sorry man, it was looking great.

Devilleader501
Wow that does suck. It really is looking great though. As many problems as I have had with my Cursader lol I think you could have it fixed in no time. You still have time before the end of the GB. You can do it
xavi84
Thanks guys. Well, after mulling it over for a good part of the day yesterday, I decided to just go for it and keep on working on it. I haven't finished a build in over a year and I have a feeling that if i box it up now it will never get done. I already re-glued the seam and today I'm hoping to sand and repaint. So, we will see how that goes...
Devilleader501
 YAY I cant wait to see you pull this one off. It will be more rewarding being it has set you back some. Good luck and awaiting further updates.
xavi84
I'm refusing to give up on this one. Here it is with a fresh coat of paint. Lets see how it goes this time around Im gonna let it dry over night and then hit it with orange paint tomorrow or the day after that. Lets hope I don't screw it up cause I'm out of white paint. Failure is not an option. Edited September 10, 2012 by xavi84
