Kaibutsu
Last month I asked where I could get an airbrush hose for a Veda airbrush and was told Harbor Freight had one that would fit. Three weeks ago I bought it and it fit. Yeah! I used it a few times and I got the nastiest headaches each time I used it. That hose smells like it's been dipped in gasoline. I've let it sit out for 2 weeks and the smell won't go away. I think I need to get a new hose. Just thought I'd mention this about the Harbor Freight airbrush hose. The Keeper
Not being able to smell it I would assume it's probably cheap vinyl and since vinyl never cures you will continue getting the headache inducing vapors. Probably need to use that hose outside or where there is sufficient ventilation. Keep shopping and asking for a proper airline. hth
Netz
Take it back to them and get a new one, I'm sure they will do that with no problem. I have a H/F hose and it's fine, you just got a screwed up one. Curt

Hawkeye's Hobbies
Take it back! Cheap isn't necessarily good.
pastafarian
I use a H/F airbrush and hose with no problems. The rubber in yours might be breaking down or something. That batch might have gotten screwed up somehow. John
phasephantomphixer
Agreed, do the exchange. I have two of them and no problems.

Did you find an airbrush airhose that does not smell like gasoline yet? It will be good information for those who is allergic to it. How do you airbrush for the mean time? How do you airbrush for the mean time? Hey Kei Lau, I haven't found another airbrush hose. So, for the mean time, I don't airbrush. With any luck, I hope to have an airhose by next weekend.
