DutyCat
I just uploaded a two part video on Adhesives, Fillers, and Sanding. It is aimed at the beginner to average modeler, although advanced modelers might get a chuckle out of it as well. Part 1, Adhesives, is Part 2, Filler Putties and Sanding, is Thanks for watching! DutyCat
Thanks Rob. Glad you are enjoying Shuttle Wars. Still a LONG ways to go there! I did some work on the windscreen this evening. The next Shuttle Wars video update will probably be in a week or so.
galileo1
Great, looking forward to the next one. Finished all of those vids yesterday and the Monogram shuttle is starting to look really impressive (even with some of the issues). I'm thinking I'd like to get one of them and try my luck. Now watching the rest of the US Air Boing 737 vids I missed. Great stuff, Gil! Edit: Quick question...How come you don't use Tamiya's gray putty? It's one of the best I've used. Rob I am struggling with the Monogram orbiter windows at the moment. They are a PITA and there really is no easy work around. The 737 had to be stripped for repaint because I applied Alclad over MM gloss black and it crazed it. The NMF experimentation continues. I have not tried Tamiya Gray as I have not heard much about it. How is it different from the Tamiya White?
