Ken Cartwright
No, not much of a flow started for me, I'm afraid. I prefer racing more like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG_Z6aNsKNE And if you don't think they go fast enough to have spectacular crashes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8qErq29Rdw
GreyGhost
Yawn. Kinda how I'm feeling about "BIG" Racing these days ... F1, IRL, NASCAR, etc ... I am enjoying Rally though ... Gregg
ChippyWho
No, not much of a flow started for me, I'm afraid. I prefer racing more like this: Indeed; if the 'Viagra' and 'Sunset Tan' festooned sleds were to race on a proper track instead of round 'n' round a big oval forever, it would be easier to stay awake. (Sorry!)
Johnopfor
Real men do it in the rain It's more like "real men do it when it's wet".....
hogdriver
Totally agree with Johnopfor . And Its not even the original song they are using .
Ken Cartwright
Indeed; if the 'Viagra' and 'Sunset Tan' festooned sleds were to race on a proper track instead of round 'n' round a big oval forever, it would be easier to stay awake. (Sorry!) They do have a few road races per season, and I enjoy watching them. Oval racing has its own strategies and difficulties, so I don't mind watching a few, I would just prefer more road racing with a few ovals than the other way around. I don't know if road racing is more interesting from a driving standpoint, but for me they are certainly more interesting to watch.
ChesshireCat
lets see, generic bodies, generic suspensions, and pretty much generic engines to boot. What with NASCAR forcing the racer to use their parts that they controll, you have another form of handicap racing (they've been known to admit this in the past). Makes for a kinda boring form of racing in my book. gary
JasonW
No juices flowing here on this end. Does nothing for me. I live in Massachusetts. If I had any interest in watching a bunch of cars with people driving like @ssholes aggressively at high rates of speed all I have to do is go out for a drive on one of the local highways...... :D Heck, the folks around here drive like that in the rain AND in the snow. Beat that.

PNW_Modeler
It's more like "real men do it when it's wet"..... Another saying we had when I was in racing.... "We bring our own balls for this sport"
Wayne S
Better hope it doesn't rain! Real men do it in the rain What type of auto racing is rain specific? I can picture it now. "Daytona 500" Postponed for the lack of rain.
Slartibartfast
While LeMons runs under yellow during rain, we still race until the yellow flags come out. It's...interesting... to learn your tire's limits at 100 mph when the track becomes wet. Thank goodness LeMons doesn't allow slicks.
indydog
I love Nascar! I don't really like all the tracks they go to, but the superspeedways are great. Though I find it odd that a few years ago, all the drivers said they hated pack racing. Then the tandom racing came, and they didn't like that. Now the pack is back and all the drivers LOVE it! I also can't wait for the Rolex cars to come to Indy this year. Edited March 5, 2012 by indydog

I get to hear them blabber on about how the like this driver but not that driver. Seriously? Like there's a difference from one driver who turns left compared to another driver who turns left?
