Nice job on the completed build. David's decals look very nice. Any issues with them? Did you heed his suggestion and apply them to a wet surface? Well done, Shawn. phantom Posted May 6, 2012 Author Share Posted May 6, 2012 Yep, the upper colours of his sheet are spot on. The lower colours are slightly light but I was able to fix that. They went on with no problems whatsoever. Nice instructions. Figured I would do 421. Only one desert storm airframe (briefly) flew with the 421 markings before the squadron markings where removed fleet wide. Not 100% I have the right airframe but my research seems to indicate 746 might be correct. That, and not one of my completed Hornets had 421 markings, except the egg plane.
