Thank you so much for all of your comments, friends.

I may have to rest from the modelling world for a while, but still will be active in other aspects of scale modelling.

Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing this model, and this history behind it. It's always good to remember what these types of machines where made to do, no matter what side of a conflict they happened to be on. I agree with you when you said that history should be apart of every model.

Thank you all for your encouragemts!

The photos of this work have been illegally used by Beijing TV Youth channel in their MiG-25 column without my permition recently, with my logos cut.

And even after I contacted them, they still keep silent and no answers till now.

So I suggest everybody print their own logos on the photos to prevent those nasty mass media structures illegal behaviors.

So 5 years passed since this beast was finished, and tons of things happened including all R-40 missiles by Aromory were broken during the ages.

I chose the relatively new product from Russia, the Advanced Modelling R-40 full resin missiles with better shape, better details and most important: very solid strength with 4 big fins on the body, really thoughtful.

The assembling is very straight forward. All you need to do is remove the cast block carefully and dry fit: you always need to cut somewhere to make the resin cast parts fit better.

Most time I spent is for painting as you can see those R-40 missiles are very complicated in colour varieties.

Here I share some of my reference from Internet:

After repeating masking/painting for a dozen times, I'm quite satisfied with the final result which seems replicate 90% of the real thing.
