Matt Shropshire
Will be in the Carson City/Reno area till the end of the week. Any good shops I need to put on my list of places to stop at?
WymanV
It's closing on a year since I moved away but if nothing's changed since then, no. High Sierra Hobbies was the LHS of significance but the owner died and attempts to buy the business fell through a couple years ago. The closest thing to a hobby shop would be Hobbytown USA in Carson City, but the selection was slim and I only visited a couple times. There are a couple R/C shops in Reno but the only place stocking styrene is Michaels. Ken

My in-laws live in the area and Have been to High Sierra several times. I stumbled on to HobbyTown yesterday. But I figured, I would check to see if there were any shops that were off the radar. Karl Sander
Sad to hear about High Sierra. I had known about the owner's passing but kept hoping the business would pull through. It was the closest and best hobby shop to me when I was living in Fallon.
