Keith Diamond
First completed NASCAR kit since I was a kid - Monogram kit - Kit decals - Powerslide Tire Decals - Krylon white and Emerald Green for the body Since I'm primarily an aircraft guy, this required a very different skill set, particularly when it came to finishing the body. I learned the hard way that the old kit decals do not respond very well to Microset/Microsol, so I had to strip the body and repaint it. It didn't turn out quite as nice as the first time, but it will have to do. The Powerslide tire decals were awesome, and I'm so glad I ordered them towards the end of the build. They were easy to work with and look a helluva lot better than painting the raised lettering. I'm happy with the results, and I'll definitely build more NASCAR builds in between building aircraft. Just call me Ray
Really amazing. I don't suppose you're going to do the Regal generation previous to this?
Keith Diamond
Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate them. Ray, there are no plans to, and this was actually the only Buick in my stash.
