Just curious as to the different career paths taken to where one pilot/NFO goes on to be a captain of a carrier, while the other guy goes on to be the CAG.

Also the position of the Air Boss/Mini Boss, where does that fit in? Does the mini boss fleet up the become the Air Boss once the currents Air Boss tour is up?
