F6F-3 Hellcat. Eduard 1/72

Recommended Posts

Built almost OOB, I only aded the rivets, MG barrels, antenna wire and landing gear wires. The hangar deck catapult base is made from scratch with styrene pieces.

For the heavy weathering I used oil and enamel products.

More pics, for those interested: Scaleworks

Do you think a glass of whiskey would help me build a model that looks that great??? :worship:

The weathering and the paint chipping is simply astonishing..............

Far away of normal modeling, just art, intelligence of colors and enthousiasm !!!

Even a blind and dirty midget will look like Clark Gable with Diego.

A humble opinion of a great admirer.

Cheers Friend.

Very nice job on the paintwork, she just looks all that beaten up, you can imagine from a few months of salty water.

But, since she's at the cat... Where's the pilot..?

Jesse, NOOOOO!! Have nothing to do with that Tennessee mouthwash; drink only Kentucky Bourbon (preferably Jim Beam or Maker's Mark).

Modelling skills may not improve (do yours need to?!), but you won't give a rat's!

Yes, another expression of perfection by Diego Quijano -I swear this guy could lick a block of granite into a Hellcat most of us could only dream about...

I think he had some kind of severe toilet emergency! I find no other explication. :o
