petebuilt
I was outside today in the sunlight, messing with my camera. This is my latest completed project. It's a 1/48 USCG MH-60J constructed from Italeri's HH-60H. Cobra Company's HH-60J conversion set was used, along with a combination of Fireball Modelworks and The Aviation Workshop/Model Alliance decals. The M-240 machine gun is from Black Dog Resins, as are some of the emergency gear in the cabin. I'm not too happy with quality of the photos, as I am still playing with this camera, lighting etc. At least you'll get an idea of what I've been up to. : ) Pete Brown Edited September 2, 2012 by petebuilt
dehowie
Great result! Can I say one thing with the white of the chopper it will photograph far better under artificial light giving a bit less contrast and more detail in the black areas. Love the Coast Guard helicopters and that is a awesome final result from numerous add ons. Great stuff!

You're right. a lot of the details are lost for sure due to the sunlight. Working on a light tent and all that. Appreciate your comments!
JesniF-16
I was scrolling down on your build and was wondering where the pics for the model were.... Looked real with the diorama and the way you photographed the chopper outside...
