All new tooled 1/72 Hobbycraft Avro CF-105 Arrow?

Recommended Posts

I came across a whole pile of these new kits in a hobby shop in Mississauga the other day (Panther Hobbies just outside Toronto). Being a 1/48 scale guy I didn’t pay much attention to it and the box doesn’t give away many clues as to how it may look completed.

I’ll be interested to see how this kit fairs from a build and accuracy aspect.

David,

Just check the link I post in #22 just the fifth one above starting with your post as #1. If you have a camera phone maybe next time you're there you can take some pics. I was told the side of the box has images similar to those on the side of Dragon kit (CAD images). Yeah it didn't surprise me that you guys back east would get them first. Hopefully we'll see an in box review on ARC soon.

aerofan,

The box really didn't seem to give you a clue as to the contents (line drawings and some text signifying that this is "new tool" - not like the old tool :)

The kit has shown up in quite a few of the stores around Toronto... so it should be there soon.

See Aviation World CF-105-AW for a bit of a look.

I should be able to get you a shot next week if you are still looking for more info.

Cheers,

David

That'll be great if you could get shots of the sides where Hobbycraft told me these details are. Atleast Aviationworld has a better price at $29.95 too bad their sale is over in Toronto and the Richmond store doesn't carry models because the staff there is more interested in diecast :crying2: .
