ross blackford
, Grrr!! What's with photbucket these days. I used to be able to drop and drag a pic into a forum post when I first started using Photobucket, then they changed the format so then I had to click on IMG Code and then hit Control V and the image appeared in my post in whatever forum. I just went to do that and it seems the format has changed yet again and I can't just copy by clicking on IMG Code any more and then hitting Control V. Why can't they just leave things alone? If it works don't fix it. Can anyone guide me through the new process please or even better suggest a simpler sharing service and I'll put all my pics on that service and give Photobucket the big flick. No cheers this time Grr, Ross. Edited May 18, 2012 by ross blackford

ross blackford
Thank you cafe but it still isn't working for me. when I log in the thumbnails of the photos appear but there is now no info under each thumbnail like there used to be. When I click on the thumbnail it is enlarged and the info appears in the sidebar. When I highlight the IMG Code and hit Control V nothing happens, the word copied no longer appears and the pic doesn't appear in the post any more. Am I doing something wrong here? Ross. cafe
Here is what see when I hover on a pic in one of my albums. When I click on the "IMG code" line, it gets automatically copied to the clipboard.
rightwinger26
Ross, I'm having the same problem, half the time it times out when I'm trying to upload pictures, then it doesn't come up with the drop down menu so I have to open the photo, high light, and copy. Also I can't edit photos. I'm not computer savvy enough to keep figuring this stuff out, and it's really frusteratig
ross blackford
:D, Thank you rightwinger, I was becoming convinced I was the only one suffering this issue. Cafe what do you do after the IMG Code is copied to the clipboard, that may be the key because I hadn't even noticed if that had happened or even knew it was supposed to happen. Like rightwinger, I'm not so savvy with all this stuff so I really do need a hand. , Ross. ps. Do you have any small scale RAAF Miracles in your albums? Edited May 19, 2012 by ross blackford
cafe
A simple [Ctrl]+[v] does the trick for me. You could check your album settings, maybe there's some box there that should be ticked? Or something is interfering with photobucket's javascript? No built examples of aussie Miracles yet but there's an half-started Sqn 76 bird in an svg file (A3-16, silver livery). I should update and finish it.

Ross, Once it is in the clipboard just go where you want to put it, say here on ARC, right click and paste. The IMG code off the clipboard should then show up in your post. This is the way I do it.
