Runge
I have a few Strykers in my stash and after trying to mix paint to get the magenta color of the anti-relfective lens coating an idea popped into my head, why not use fingernail polish? There is probably a perfect shade out there to replicate it. I need help tracking down a good picture of the coating so I can begin my hunt for the polish.
White Wolf
How about using the anti-reflection coating sticker from AFV Club? http://www.amps-armor.org/ampssite/reviews/showReview.aspx?ID=1603&Type=BR Easy to apply and the effects are really convincing, I used a similar product from AFV Club on my plane's HUD and was happy with the results. Runge
Wow, that would be much easier and they look great. Where can I buy them in the States?
White Wolf
Sprue Brothers has them in stock, I think.
Runge
Thank you for the information. They appear blue on Sprue Brothers' site?
Holeshot
The AFV Club ones looks fantastic. A friend used them on his Stryker MGS and they came out great. They may appear blue because depending on how the light hits them they look red, pink, gold, green, blue, etc.--just like the real thing. The other option is to use layers of Tamiya clear colors, but since seeing the AFV Club stickers I'd say go with those. Curtis
