Pete
I thought I would give this a try. Going to build the Italeri 1/72 A-6E Intruder kit, using Wolfpak decals for a VA-34 bird. According to the instructions it was on the USS JFK in 1974, but that should probably be 1977, since they didn't have the E model in '74. Started last night, and so far I have done some cockpit work, and sprayed all the small bits that need to be white, white. Cockpit being glued in place: Working on the instrument panel: More coming soon!
EX_Birdgunner
Whew! You're a braver man than I. Good luck with the build. I will be watching with interest since I have a couple of 1/72 Hasegawa Intruders planned in the near future. Denis
