F4DPhantomII
Are there any?Local dealer has the 1/32 F-15J for $70.
jmel
That's a great price for the J. The J includes the correct MSIP instrument panel for any modern F-15. Jake
F4DPhantomII
Thanks Jake I am sorry I missed out on your guide to the F-15.Any chance of a reprint?
Dave Williams
Be aware that the F-15J kit only has the same slim boom on top of both tails, which is correct for export versions like the -J. You'll need the bigger pod on top of the left tail for any USAF F-15C. As Jake noted, you do get the later MSIP panel in the -J kit, while the -C kit only has the pre-MSIP panel. Other differences are some -J specific antennas, but they are add ons, and you still get all the -C antennas (except for the tail pod).
F4DPhantomII
So the J kit only has the slim booms and not a thick one in the box. Thanks Dave.I know I'll never find a Tamiya 1/32 F-15C at that price.$70.
Harv
Also includes Japanese-style helmets for the flight crew, vice the HGU-55 (IIRC) in the F-15C boxing. Concur that $70 is a pretty good price, though-
Wizard_rkt
The instrument panel is different, too.
