Julien (UK)
Finally finished this one. Airfix club kit. Overall a nice kit from aifix, fit generally good. Did not like the wheels and some of the sprue attachment points for the smaller parts were way to big. Only my second 109 as I normally do jets. My only other 109 to date was the matchbox one, and that was the very first model I built! I just liked the idea of this one in British camo. main paints are xtracrylix while the prop was painted using a very old tin of humbrol (you know the ones which smell good ) finished with Vallejo matt varnish. Still makes into a nice model show here after the repaint at RAE Farnborough. Julien (now going back to jets) Edited June 21, 2012 by Julien (UK)

Andrew Doppel
Nice Julien. I agree with you it's a really nice kit. I went the other option and did mine as the 'Mike'. Regards Andrew
Julien (UK)
Nice one Andrew. Looks good in those other markings as well. I have the Japanese markings left if anyone wants them. Julien
