jpk
I see Kinetic has announced a T-45 in 1/48. I also read that Two Bob's may have their rumored 1/48 T-45 at the Nats later this year. Is this a fact?
dsmith
TB is not doing a T-45 kit. They were just one of the parties involved in helping design the kit. I believe they designed the decals, and will have some additional sheets for it, as well as Caracal too. I'm sure Bob or Mike will chime in. Cheers, -Doug :)

centuaryseries
I've been waiting for this for years! I have been waiting a long time for this one as well and I think we this one will NOT disappoint. I saw test shots for it in June, alongside the F-5A, the parts where on the sprues so sorry there was no test fitting however the general shape looked right and the panel lines where the best yet being finer and not as deep as the F-5 they are the best rendition of panel lines to date that I have seen from kinetic. Note the price is almost $10 more than the F-5 however as I saw this beside the F-5 I can tell you The T-45 dwarfed it!! mawz
And I hope not as over-engineered as the F-5A kit... V.P. Shouldn't be, they only need to do one aircraft, not a family.
ChippyWho
Looks like only another coupla months to go! A & C options as well, apparently: T-45 Release News Edited August 30, 2012 by ChippyWho
Two Mikes
Kinetic is releasing the kit. Bob did draw the decals for it and our own Gabe Pincelli (former T-45 driver) helped Kinetic with the shape etc. Bob will be releasing a limited number of kits under his label which will include markings for both CoNA jets as well as a reference CD that Gabe, myself and a few other folks have provided pictures for. Price is TBD as far as I know at this point. Cheers! Mike

scapilot
Just pre-ordered mine. I see it says listed in Aug., but does anyone know when they're actually scheduled to release and start shipping it?
mhoupt
I saw on one site a November release. http://www.cybermodeler.com/news/kinetic.shtml
scapilot
Ah, hell. I'll probably cancel that order then. I can wait if we still got that long.

Gabe Pincelli
Oh damn.....this will be so cool.....but my gloss work sucks......;) I will try my best. Good news is they don't stay very glossy for long. After only a year or two in the SouthTexas sun, the paint already starts to oxidize. I will most likely do mine with a satin sheen (except the CoNA jet) Gabe

Certainly makes that airframe stand out! Jon
pookie
Great! I happen to think the schemes on Two Bobs kits are the ugliest paint schemes ever. My opinion of course. I Will be buying this set!
KursadA
And here's my second T-45 sheet: http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=254841
dmk0210
Kusada, The T-45 sheets you have coming look very cool. Do you have any plans to do one of the very lovely CONA T-45s? (I believe there were two in this scheme, with Navy on one side, Marines on the other) Edited September 13, 2012 by dmk0210
