Starfighter84
Hello guys! I'm back with a new model, a Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX c of Italian Air Force. This model represents something very special for me because the decals has been entirely conceived, planned and produced by me! you can find some info about the decal sheets by CLICKING HERE! The kit is the Hasegawa with the fuselage correction made by Loon Models. Cockpit from CMK, seat with Sutton harness from Ultracast. Prop, spinner and exhaust from Quickboost. Also from Ultracast are the late style elevator, pilot access door, cannon bay covers, low cover with the late style intake and 4 spokes wheels. Camouflage made by Tamiya & Gunze. Hope you enjoy my work! any comments are always welcome. Greetings from Italy! Valerio. Edited July 12, 2012 by Starfighter84
Paolo Maglio
very nice Valerio, this is the same subject I made (from Tamiya kit) but before conversion for the recce role. Your attention to details is amazing, well done.
MikeC
Nice job, and one doesn't often see an Italian example modelled. Small point: you've captioned it as a IXc, but it appears to be an "e" wing?

Many Spitfires used by Italian Air Force had this feature. ;) @ Paolo: grazie per gli apprezzamenti. :)

Thanks for adding to my store of Spitfire knowledge Valerio.
