jester292
While in Prague this past week (returned yesterday), I scored big on some Eduard kits. I picked up the 1/48 Fw-190A "Grunherz" Dual Combo, 1/48 Fw-190D-11/13 Profipack Dual Combo, and 1/48 Bf-110G-2 Profipack. I paid a total of $120 USD for all three kits. What a deal! Froggy
Wow! I will go in Prague beg. September. Do you have some interesting addresses to buy kits there? Cheers
jester292
If you go to the MPM models website they have their Praha addresses listed. They recently had 50% off Eduard kits (for online purchases, which I missed out on), and some other promotions going on in store. I missed out on those as well, but their retail prices are excellent. Jim, I haven't been on your friends list yet??? Aaron Edited July 20, 2012 by jester292

PetrB
MPM has nice (and big) shop in Myslikova street...almost in the Prague center near of Karlovo namesti metro station http://www.mapy.cz/#x=14.418473&y=50.078314&z=16&t=s&q=myslikova%2520praha&qp=14.308411_50.058319_14.581445_50.148557_11&d=stre_120607_0_1 Just next street - Opatovicka str. - there is another shop - Bilek (e.g. An-2 or Jak-23 both 1/48...do you remember? ) and one "seconhand shop on the corner of Pstrosova str. and Opatovicka str. (aprox. 20 far from Bilek shop) If you will not spend all the many there, you can continue to www.arthurmodel.cz (Address: U Krčské vodárny 1134/63 Prague 4 ... near Budejovicka metro station) http://www.mapy.cz/#x=14.455921&y=50.042618&z=15&d=addr_8951998_1&t=s&q=U%2520Kr%25C4%258Dsk%25C3%25A9%2520vod%25C3%25A1rny%25201134%252F63&qp=9.781476_48.276063_21.170227_51.077513_6 There are two shops - Arthur and next door - former AZ Model...strongly recommended ...so my recommendation - let start to save many for shopping and save space in your suitcase
jester292
I took Tram 22 from Namesti Miru to Karlovo Namesti, that's where I'd walk to the MPM store. If you go one further to Narodni Trida, you can walk from there as well but Karlovo Namesti is closer. Aaron
