pabbi
Hi guys (and girls,) just finished my IL-2 need some feedback (Critique) to improve my future work :) regards, Ragnar
Bonehammer73
I take it this is the Tamiya kit, right? A fast build... I like the finish and subtle weathering. I cannot find any flaws with the craftsmanship and the end result looks very realistic. Because this is the Critique corner: the open gunner canopy looks odd with the crew already in place. You might want to flatten the tires slightly to avoid the aircraft-on-tiptoe effect; a little goes a long way, you don't want the tires to look deflated.
IRONDOC
pabbi, very nice job, I can only add to the critique in some pic's theres a gloss or satin sheen wing leading edge's and gear pylon, also the prop decal's have silvering and need another coat of gloss then do flatcoat.other than that real nice weathering and wear job,, <S> DOC
Britaholic
Like most people I do not know enough about the subject matter to offer constructive criticism, but it looks great to me, nice to see a VVS subject Cheers Dennis
smee
So do love the paint job, but the undercarrage looks wrong, should have flatter tyres thats one hell of a bird http://www.allworldwars.com/videos/IL-2%20Pilot%20Manual/How-to-fly-IL-2-Sturmovik-1943.html Some great footage.
