aerofan
Some hackers from the fareast hacked into my email account while I was asleep. Found the alert message when I logged in. Changed the password but already too late as my friends asked to me why the h?!! did I send them spam. I had to appologize and explain. Well, hope that rids them for awhile. Wish I could out these hackers.
vince14
Use a decent password then. Minimum 14 characters, upper and lower case, alphanumeric. Special characters too, if your account allows them. Most successful email hacks are just robots going through brute-force dictionary checks. Have ypu got good anti-virus and a firewall active? Contrary to popular belief, there's no teenage hacker sat in a darkened room singling you out, it's just bots out on the net scanning for vulnerabilities. It's all down to how good your email provider is at password security, and how complex you make a password. Vince

Pesky kids!

And yes I did what you described expect for the special chars which my account doesn't accept. Just to let you know, I didn't use 123...., abc...., or password as my password but it wasn't as sophisticated as the Nazi's enigma code. Yeah I know it's a bot that cracks passwords but still a hacker using the bot. Also yes my firewall is always active and I do have good antivirus checker. My computer wasn't affected. Well, if anyone is in need of some diet products, I can pm you the spam link  . ChernayaAkula, yeah the image of the hacker is great even only if it's in the virtual world. Jennings
Happened to me as well. A simple password change solved it. They don't have to hack into your account to do that.
