OK, back from vacation, back to work:)

No need to talk about the AFV kit, nice one but still I spiced everything up with Aires cockpit, gun & electronic bay, brakes and aux intakes.

You guys set some pretty serious standards in this GB so I'm prepared to chop my part of plastic...

Most of the resin stuff is to be in the front section and I expected to be quite crowdy with the gunbay and the el. bay all up in a narrow nose section.

And of course resin parts don't fit each other, I guess Aires fellas didn't expect people would like to use more than one of those per kit.

Part of the front wheel bay had to be cut in order to fit the gunbay:

part of the resin ele. bay had to be cut also, otherwise it don't fit with gunbay...

the other way around everything went fine

that's it for the kick off, thanks for watching...

Thanks guys. This is just a small update with the front part almost finished.

The Aires cockpit fell in smoothly with no trimming needed at all. The worst part were those ele. bays. They don't fit at all. Had to slice 'em and cut 'em to fit them in.

Diego helped a lot with his info on which seat to use. Thanks for that. fortunately I had MB MK.7 left over from the F-104G

Here's the difference between the two...
