Brad-M
Guys, Can anyone tell me what the colour is for the sand on the Eqyptian/UARAF Mig-21's in the late 60's & early 70's? I know Eduard uses but is there an FS colour? TIA Brad

Jennings
Which of the several camo schemes are you asking about? There was the tiger stripe, the Nile Valley three tone, and the Soviet factory export scheme in EAF service.

Jennings
I would take any FS recommendations with a LARGE grain of salt. First off, having looked at literally thousands of MiG-21 images when I was doing the Afterburner sheets, I will tell you that I doubt there is a single correct color. The Soviet export scheme (from the factory) was fairly consistent, but for airplanes painted in-country I wouldn't get too pedantic about it. Find or mix a sand color you like and go with it. Given the amount of abuse the airplanes took and the harsh conditions under which they operated, any specific color would have changed fairly rapidly in service.
