frogman13
Hi Guys, Here is my latest: Dragon models "Premium Edition" SU-100. I also used some parts from the "Accurate Armor" Egyptian SU-100 conversion. I based this scheme on photos taken in the early 1980s of a particular captured vehicle, but because most of the colors in the photos were indistinct, I had to do some guess work . The Yom Kippur War saw many varied color schemes on Egyptian tanks. No set patterns were used but mainly disruptive schemes to "dazzle" Israeli gunners. Whether this was an effective strategy may never be known as many were knocked out during the 73 war. Colors were applied by the crews in combinations of Black, Grey, Brown and green and in many different shades of these basic colors. I will (no doubt) do some additional weathering to give it a very used appearance and hang some stowage typical of the Egyptian army. Thanks for looking ! Tankcommander
Very nice, I really like the color contrast. The crew looks good as well. TC
