Devilleader501
Sweet picked this 2001 Suzuki DRZ 400 up today. Needs a little TLC but only paid 400 bucks for it. HMMMMMM I can get like 500 miles to the cup now. Gas companies can shove it LOL. Now I just have to remember how to ride. Kidding. I have been looking for one of these things for about 2 years now and finally found one. Wooo Hooo Edited September 7, 2012 by Devilleader501

Devilleader501
Actually I never ride without one. I always stay protected. I don't trust other people on the road.

Devilleader501
Neither does my brother hes an EMT/Firefighter also. He's pretty stoked about my buy though. Can't beat 400 bucks for a clean used and running street legal motorcycle.
DutyCat
Nice bike. Suzukis have always been my favorites. This reminds me of years ago when I learned that a guy I worked with had a Honda 650 (XLR?) street/enduro. I had an 89 RM250 at the time and was active in regional motocross racing. We agreed to meet at my local practice track one Saturday afternoon. We swapped bikes at one point. He wrecked my RM in about 30 seconds. Just way too much for him. I took his XLR around the track at what I thought was a modest clip, knowing that the suspension was softer as it was a duel purpose bike and not a pure bred motocross machine. I pulled off after a couple of laps and his rear fender license plate bracket was wrapped up under the frame from when I bottomed out his suspension going over a jump. Ouch. He never came out to ride with me again. BTW, when I clicked on this thread, I thought I was going to see one of those new Fiat 500s (you know, the one they give you a Romanian supermodel with). Lucien Harpress
Nice job. I'm looking at an old '77 Goldwing right now (that I don't need) that the guy's got listed for 600, but I ain't paying that much. Not quite in as good a shape as yours, though..... Good luck with the purchase, though! Looks real slick.
