Arkasha
Hello all, I have a memory of a photo taken in the Western Desert sometime after the DAK arrived, but before it was defeated. It's a very dramatic shot, showing the back of an 8th Army trooper running, rifle at the ready, toward a terrified German leaning out, hands up, out of a Panzer IV (?) side hatch. For some really weird reason, I keep thinking the Panzer crewman was dressed in black and wearing an early-style beret or "schutzmutze," while the 8th Army trooper wore shorts. Is this a real photo, or just the product of a fevered imagination? Any idea of where this might be found would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!
