Old Blind Dog
I see Revell is coming out very soon with an all-new '50 Olds (Rocket 88) Futuramic! Exciting news--right up there with the Moebeus '55 Chrysler 300. Anybody have more details about the kit? Seen test shots yet? cheers Old Blind Dog

Old Blind Dog
I have the Ertl 1/18th scale die-cast--which is a beauty--but I could very well be tempted to snag a couple copies of the Revell kit. It would look SWEEEET in Tamiya TS Maroon! cheers Old Blind Dog

Old Blind Dog
Hey! I LOVE those post-war Buicks, too! My grandpa had a '47 (pre-holes in the side) and a couple of late-40s, early-50s junkers out in his pasture. Best car my Dad ever owned was a wonderful '56 Special 4-door post sedan. D***! That thing was like a tank! I'm going to have to budget for some new kit and supply acquistions in the new year, starting with the Revell '50 Olds, plus the Moebius '55 Chrysler and a few others. . . cheers Old Blind Dog
Phantom ordie
Do a diorama with the Hudson the Olds and the Chrysler on a dirt track.
Old Blind Dog
Actually I'm wondering if Moebius might eventually come out with a Tucker since they seem to do subjects with early NASCAR connections (the Hudson, the '55 300). Tucker raced one of the 50 cars they built on the early circuit. Of course, I'd want the stock version, but I'll bet the NASCAR version would sell like hotcakes, maybe even well enough to help subsidize the stock version. cheers Old Blind Dog Edited December 20, 2012 by Old Blind Dog
Old Blind Dog
OK! Finally picked up a copy of the Revell '50 Olds from Model Roundup. Also got the Moebius '55 Chrysler 300 and '52 Hudson convertible, plus a sheet of Bare Metal Foil. Which one to do first????? cheers Old Blind Dog
