Which "aluminum-yellow" livery are we talking about? There were dozens of air forces over decades. Need more specifics..

I was referring to all those Texan and/or SNJ that had an "apparently" aluminum fuselage and yellow wings, or partially yellow painted wings.

That's because in Italy were used both aircraft from USA, Canada, and returned from leasing to South Africa.

The point was to find out the correct finish for the aluminum parts.

Meanwhile I solved the problem: they were all aluminum doped, at least in Italy.
