Ryan Hothersall
Latest project was the Su-9 from Cooperativa. Went together ok, there were a couple of parts that did not fit well at all, the canopy was the worst, but the gaps ere filled with clear drying glue. I thought I had the undercarriage sorted out and seemed to have stuck, but came back to it later and it had collapsed, I was blaming the neighbourhood cats for jumping on it etc, but flimsy undercarriage + big fishing sinker in the nose probably did not help. Gixed it with pieces of aluminium tube and seems to have held it up so far. Build photos Completed model from various angles and with and without flash. Supertom
Fantastic work Ryan. I have that kit myself and I'll definitely use your build photos as a guide. Did you have any issues with the cockpit, by the way? It doesn't look like it will fit into the fuselage.
Ryan Hothersall
The cockpit was ok from memory, but the jet pipe gave me problems. It was too big and the rear fuselage did not close up. Also the canopy is too small for the cockpit, so that's why I used quite a bit of a clear drying glue as a filler.
