But that was a weird ending to a game 7 with the heavens literally pouring on the field in the top of the ninth. Seeing pitchers and batters trying to play in that was... bizarre. But, the Giants have won the penant (much to my mom's chagrin as she is a Dodgers fan and hates that particular comment when it is repeated a certain way). Quote Link to post Share on other sites

So did I, but that's why you play the games as the old saying goes... I did too think we were going to see an '06 rematch. This should be a really good series though.
