Janissary
It looks fantastic. I particularly liked the cockpit, all the details you have been adding, and the painting. Very neat. How did you like the kit? I am eying this one also, but I fear that it is a little difficult to put it together. Any comments of the kit along the way would be fantastic. HAMMER32
May I ask what type of airbrush you use? I have a single action siphon airbrush and I'd like to get the same results as yours, but I'm afraid I may not be able to with that type. Beautiful work you do! :worship:/> I am using BADGER R2S, it's a double action airbrush with 0.21mm needle. good perfomance and reasonable price.

It's the only choice to build an A-6E without rescribe the panel line. The details are not as good as the REVELL's kit, but not bad.If you want to build a perfect model, this kit provide you a good opportunity to practice filling gaps and sanding. There is a 1~2mm gap between the cockpit and fuselage, and you need not to hesitate with using a resin cockpit, that wont't bring much more work than using the kit parts. VA-115EFR
OUTSTANDING JOB!!!! And a great squadron to boot! I personally got to work with Aldo Kuntz while in VA-115 (1993-1995) Interesting, but sad story. Aldo was flying behind 505 on October 14, 1994, when 505's wingtip hit the water during a low level mission in a valley somewhere in Japan and cartwheeled destroying the plane. Killed on board were LT. Eric "BONE" Hamm, and LT John "CHOWDA" Dunne, which, if I'm correct, are one of the options in the decals. That was a pretty tough time for the squadron. Aldo was a great XO and even better CO. Great bunch of guys all around. Your work is top notch, great weathering! I hope to be able to get that good someday! Well done! :thumbsup:/> Edited April 12, 2013 by VA-115EFR
