Hi my friends

I was just designing some connectors as I have difficulties to scratch them

connector1.jpg

connector4.jpg

such connector will be in real 2 mm (.078)small in 1/35, with a hole for the wire at the end

If you are interested by some connectors, I may add them to my set

I will also look if I can do them in 1/48

Hi Tim

You're right, it's only when printed that we'llsee if it is OK.

But I do not want to print just one, so I go further with drawings

I added a box mount receptacle

connector6.jpg

I changed it to a jam nut receptacle (as seen in the Lynx)

connector7.jpg

I added a schrinkboot

connector8.jpg

Great looking work. Have you looked at the connectors on the MH-47E hoist? I could use those and the ones for the flare/chaff buckets. Just saying.

And the Flir connectors also ?

If someone can find the connectors diameters(at connection), it will help me not to Over/undersize

Hi Floyd

Now, this is guessed from my documents, If I get closer pics and/or dimensions, I will only have to adjust

Thank you Luca

I can not go under 0.3 mm wall thickness, but can get 0.045 mm details

(divide by 25.4 to have it in inches)

I see what I can do

Thank you Adam

Go ahead

Thank you Floyd

Thank you Alexander. However, you do not need the printer, looking what you have done...

My camera could not picture it, connectors are designed with following features :

a location pin on one side, in order to place it in a hole at the requested place. You can cut it if you do not need the pin.

A tiny hole the wire side, in order to play out printers limits.

The hole, diameter 0.2 mm and 0.2 mm deep, helps to center a drill,

in order to match your wire diameter

Wow Norbert, excellent work Sir. I sure could use a bunch of those for both my 1/35 and 1/48 Little Birds. I have to scratch build all of the connections behind the cockpit in the aft compartment and those would save me a ton of time. SOOOOOOOOO, when are these going to be ready for sale?
