SHINYAW LIN
Hi, Guys, here I present my last built 1/72 AMT XB-70. I know this is a huge kit, before I start the project, I compare the main fuselage with 1/48 YF-12. I was amazed by the size of XB-70. Flickr 上 rotchc3570 的 DSCF4323 The AMT parts have a lot of steps and seams to be deal with. After 2 months of struggle, the result is worth the effort. Here is my Valkyrie. Jennings
Nice! That kit is a real bear to wrestle to the ground, and you've done a bang-up job! Yeah, I remember the first time I walked up to the XB-70 at the USAFM back in the 1970s (it was still outside back then). "Agog" is the only word that springs to mind. It's HYOOOOOOGE!! Sadly, the airplane is getting to be in pretty bad shape even though it's housed indoors. The honeycomb material that its skin is made of is delaminating, and last I heard, the museum hadn't figured out a way to repair it economically.
