Litvyak
Oh my. Simply spectacular! Makes me wish I had these detail parts when I built my Aurora (though mine still wouldn't deserve to be in the same country as your model!)
bdt13
Breathtaking! Having one of these kits on the bench right now, I can appreciate the monumental effort it took to achieve your excellent results.

Trojan Thunder
Thanks again for the kind words guys :) Detail set used is from the CMR company (just follow the link in my first post ;) ) ... Thanks Vladislav, I suppose it helps if I read you post correctly in the first place. I was just so taken with you build I skimmed over the text.

hobbymyster
First, WOW!!!! What a great model and even better build. Two questions" 1. Where did you get CMR detail set? 2. Can you tell me about the jig in the picture and where can I get one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ivan

RiderFan
These two were on my mind: http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/831/pics/94_1.jpg :) I get that it's an illustration (probably by someone that doesn't know any better), but a couple of things stand out as not quite right there; - It's the wrong style rescue placard on the starboard side rear most door. - No tail number (given the nose number, 140106 should be under the national flag) - No squadron crest. - CP-140's don't carry under wing stores so there shouldn't be any under wing pylons. - The Roundel Ident is missing the accent. - The flag should have a 1" aluminum boarder around it. Beyond that though, pretty close. But I wouldn't use it for a build reference ;)
niki4703
Beyond that though, pretty close. But I wouldn't use it for a build reference ;) Mind you, from 10.000km away and in line with the other profile I thought it could pass as a good enough example. It's settled then: I'll go with the Argentine Orion! ;)
Vladislav Seidl
As I spoke to CMR (Czech Master Resin) guys, the set should be available now. http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/CMR-DS03 http://www.aviationmegastore.com/lockheed-p3bc-orion-detailing-set-hasegawa-cmr-ds03-czechmaster-cmr-ds03-detailsets/product/?shopid=LM506ee5e7cd933649e73ffcf554&action=prodinfo&parent_id=0&art=110750

Honza
Guys, Vladislav here is being as humble as ever with his extraordinary build, so perhaps you should know that he has mastered patterns for the CMR resin upgrade set himself - that`s how he "got it" :)/> cheers, Honza Edited November 21, 2012 by Honza
Youngtiger1
Wow, this is super build. I like all the resin set you put in this plane. I think I'll have to grab some of these. ;)/>
