Plunder, plus eleventy-billion on the 1/48 Dash-8!!! A 1/48 Screamin' Weenie would be cool, too. I spent some time commuting in the back of those noisy little [CENSORED] right before Eagle got rid of them. :D/>

A 1/48 F-86A, H, and FJ-3 would be a license to print money if done correctly. Still need the F11F, too. I'd love to see some 1/48 civil subjects, like a Falcon 20 and King Air series. Others on my 1/48 wish list are apparently in the works (T-37, F2H-2, RF-101A/C).

Ben

I almost died in one, so I've had a soft spot for them ever since. :woot.gif:

As long as we're doing lists, here are the other top nicknames for the Screamin' Weenie!

San-Antonio Sewerpipe

Texas Sewer Pipe

Death pencil

Texas Lawn Dart

Swetro (It got very hot in the summer)

Baltimore Whore (no visible means of support, skinny lil 'ol wings)

Terror Tube

"That noisy f*****g thing"

Widow maker

Kerosene Crowbar

Fear tube

Necroliner

Buzzbomb

Metrowhiner

Death Tube

The other scary thing about them is the Underage Drivers they hire to fly the things. "You want fries with that collision avoidance?"

I don't think I've ever met anyone who flew Metros that didn't say, "I almost died in one!" :D/>

My best friend was killed in a II many years ago. It definitely wasn't forgiving of crew error/inexperience.

For a short time in 1981 I worked for a Swearingen sub-contractor (GenAero) doing avionics installation on Metros and the occasional Merlin. We called them "Coors cans with wings."

I second everyone who suggested a 1/48th Su-34, Su-35 and SR-71.

I would add a high quality and acurate Mirage F-1C/B/C-200/CR/CT (like AMK MiG-31) and a EC-765 Tigre, NH-90 Caïman, AS-355 Ecureuil/Squirel/Fennec, all in 1/48th of course. I think there could be a good market for a 1/48th NH-90 due to the relatively large number of users (France, Germany, Belgium, Norway, Australia, Italy, Spain, Finland, Greece, New-Zealand, Sweden, Portugal, Netherland, Oman, Morocco). But maybe I'm wrong.

My wish is for Tamiya to scale down more of their 1/48 and 1/32 lineup to 1/72, like the Spitfire Mk.IXc and VIII, and F-16C/N.

I'd also like Hasegawa to do a new tool Rafale in 1/72. The Italeri is long in the tooth and the Hobbyboss one is a tad underscale.

I'd like to see Revell get off their hind ends, and do two new JU88's in 1/72 scale. I want a "G" and a BOB JU88a1. Then lets tool up a Hudson in 1/48th.

After watching the meager attempt at a new tool F100 from Trumpeter, and can only wish for somebody to take their time and do one right. Also on my list for a complete rebuild would be the A26 Invader and Counter Invader.

This one's easy! I simply want Fujimi to start marketing their F14's in 1/72 scale over here again. And while they're at it, how about the A6's and A4's again?

Su-30MKI
