Any current thoughts? What airframes use these particular mods? A-10A With LASTE upgrade and GPS dome, any antennas missing topside? A-10C -C What is this sensor on the rear? Also, is that RHAWS antenna deleted with the current version installed? -A RHAWS antenna deleted -A wingtip formation lights -C what are these additional blisters on the tips? The missing T-shaped antenna on the top pic is the SATCOM, which is was not part of the A-10C conversion. So the C model doesnt have missile plume detectors, but the A+ model does? The SATCOM antennas arent installed on C models either? Yeah Im kind of confused here, Im actually looking to redo portions of my Trumpeter A-10 to get the correct version done, and I want to make sure it is 100% accurate this time around. jmel Posted November 26, 2012 Share Posted November 26, 2012 The SATCOM and missile detectors are simply late additions to the A-10 fleet, regardless of A, A+, or C, and have nothing to do with the A-10C conversion. They were not added when the jets went from A-10A (or A-10A+) to A-10C. Many A-10As also had the SATCOM and detectors prior to becoming A-10Cs. Jake Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I dont see any references online that determine which gets what. By now all A-10's should have received those TCTO's The squadrons that were going in country got them first. BTW the SATCOM antenna or as we called it the BLOS antenna and the AN-AAR47 MWS were not A-10C specific, however by the time the MWS TCTO came out pretty much the whole fleet had been converted over to C models.
