1/35 Cougar MRAP

So, I watching Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan about a Navy EOD unit in, you guesed it, Afghanistan. Anywho, they are operating Cougar MRAPs and I get a wild hair to model one. So, I start looking and the only one I can find is the Cromwell resin kit, which is ever so slightly cost-prohibitive.

It's price: $235.

My shocked face:

Anybody know of another kit available?

Not only the price, but do any research on Cromwell in any armor forums and you'll quickly realize you'll also likely be in for a lengthy wait to get it. Their stuff is nice though.

No, Sir. Completely different.

For clarification, "Cougar" refers to a family of vehicles, ranging from 4x4s to 6x6s. The particular variant I'm after is the JERRV (Joint EOD Rapid Response Vehicle). It's the one below.

Unfortunately, the Cromwell resin version is it right now. There are rumors that one may be in the works in plastic. We'll see what comes of it. Keep your fingers crossed.
