stikpusher
Well I finally completed this long sidelined build after a three week period of knuckling down and concentrating on this project only. Kit was mostly OOB, but I replaced the kit main gun barrel with a metal one from Barrel Depot. I replaced the turret roof machine gun ammo can with one from an Academy US Machine Gun set, and scratch built a cradle for it. I also added some fuel tank plumbing using copper wire, drilled out the co ax machine gun slot, modified the turret configuration to that seen on Tirans in the October 1973 war, and cobbled together some tow cables and stowage from various sources. AgentG
Looks good! She's sufficiently dry and dusty looking. I need a glass of water now. G

AgentG
Oh that looks even better up close! I love the M51 with that huge barrel. That Academy kit will be fun. Mine's the Cyber Hobby Orange Box M50, it was a fun one too. G Edited December 17, 2012 by AgentG
stikpusher
Thanks G-man. I have one of those old MB Models M50 Shermans in my stash. It does not look like a simple build. That one is for when I have a LOT of time and no external stressors... ;-)
