Darren Roberts
I needed to try out my new Steel Beach mask set, so I pulled down a Hasegawa F-16 I had in the stash and did quick build to see how the masks performed. I also threw a couple of Steel Beach cover sets to make life easier. I was very happy with the way the masks worked. Of course, the AB sheet for the Blizzard scheme works like a charm. Sorry for the less than stellar pictures. It was too cold to shoot outside, so I did a quick shoot using the flash. Edited December 17, 2012 by Darren Roberts

strikeeagle801
Did you have to adapt the masks for the Hasegawa kit Darren? Or did you make a set for the Hasegawa kit, and another for the Tamiya? Aaron
ST0RM
Fantastic results Darren! Nice sharp demarcations and, of course, a well built kit. <Cough> 1/72 <cough> Merry Christmas! Jeff
scapilot
Lighten and darken that red a little bit, and pick out wrinkles on those covers, and it'll bring a little more dimension and illusion of lighting to them. Outside of that, nice looking bird.

The crew names came with the decal sheet, but I got in too much of a hurry to finish it to put them on. I have them sitting on my desk to put on when I get on Christmas break from my 2nd grade class. Ken Middleton
that came out great Darren! Nice work. Someday I want to do that model As Matthew points out the markings have changed a bit, and even the tail band is half yellow and half green now. Please pass along that the jet looks great!
