Parabat
Hi guys, got some pics of the British Land Rover RWMIK. The base vehicle is a Land Rover Wolf, with a turbo-charged diesel engine. Currently the best models of these are the Hobby Boss 1/35 WMIK and Airfix 1/48 RWMIK+. RWMIK in the field with a 7.62mm GPMG (M240) for Commander. Front view, with GMPG 7.62mm gun mounted on cupola. Parabat
PART FOUR Rear Starboard fuel filler cap and jerry can mounting. Extended with ratchet Rear roll cage detail. Port rear side, with jerry can stowage and 2 x 'sandtraps'(PSP). Spare wheel is on the Commander's side only, as it obscures the drivers view when on the starboard side. Note the alloy is black, as it is a field replacement. Many items are 'field replaced' direct from the factory, so not all are finished/painted in the sand colour. This is particularly relevant with replacement panels, where you can see OD panels on sand colour vehicles. Also note the spare wheel assist strop. this bolts on to the rear of the alloy spokes, allowing a single operator to free and lower the spare wheel with ease. Commander's seat and belt. The plastic 'arms' hold the sealtbelt proud of the seat, for ease of fitting once you are festooned with kit.
