once again of the air intakes for the jet modeling

Recommended Posts

For information, DMold and Rhino are not the only one who makes intakes for models of jet aircraft. In Russia, there is one firm that produces such products. Photo of these products can be seen on Russian site http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33115

Unfortunately, the site is in Russian, and requires the services of an interpreter

All products are original designs and does not use any copies (whole or partial) of the products of other firms

I wish their was a database of all scale aftermarket intakes per model and company with reviews.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying this is that company, but there is one known place in Asia I think that is copying other producers. If someone knows who that is (do not post as fact if u are unsure) please inform us.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

About history. Small firm, started its operations in August 2011, is located in St. Petersburg, Russia.

All this time the sales were made in the territory of Russia and the ex-USSR states only, where the products of the company has an excellent reputation. Sales outside the area to date has not been due to difficulties with the payment orders and the lack of its own advertising site on the Internet. (For example, PayPal in Russia is available for buyers only. Sellers have no possibility to transfer money from PayPal account to an account in a Russian bank. Branches of foreign banks in Russia are prohibited). Now firm is going to solve these problems and to begin sales outside Russia.

Currently produces the following sets:

-Air intakes 1/48

F4D-1 Skyray (Tamiya)

F-4 Phantom II (Italery)

F-4J / S Phantom II (Hasegawa)

F-4E/F/G Phantom II (Hasegawa)

F-18C Hornet (Hasegawa)

- Air intakes 1/72

F-4 Phantom II (Hasegawa)

In the nearest future will begin production of air intakes 1/48 F-4B Phantom II (Academy) and Yak-38 (Hobby Boss)

At the next production plans air intakes 1/48 Rafale (Hobby Boss), Tornado (Hobby Boss and maybe Italeri), Eurofighter Typhoon (manufacturer has not yet chosen) Information about other projects are reported only after the start of work.

Say it again. All products are fully original designs and does not use copies (whole or partial) of similar products from other companies. Moreover, following the discussions on the production DMold and Rhino Modelworks, the firm has no plans to sell their kits in the "one known place in North America" and "one known place in Asia"

Product Reviews you can search on the Russian sites. The firm is not concerned about the ratings of their products, not force anyone to write reviews about it and not watch for such reviews. We are quite satisfied with the many thanks in private correspondence.

This post is also given for information. Sorry for bad English, translation from Russian made by Google translator

If you're doing the main intakes for the Academy 4B how about doing the little air conditioning intakes as well..

They're just little and there's a definite market for them...

Sorry, did not understand what air conditional intakes do you mean? Are they?

Mvc-037s.jpg

They can do, but it may be easier to put the intakes of Quick Boost or to use the parts of Hasegawa?

I will not give up the development and production of new products because similar products are made by someone else. Again, these are my own designs, wich are not using the results of the labor of others.

As for Rhino Modelworks, I am sure to 99.9999.....%. These are the usual illegal copies of other manufacturers, sometimes with minor changes.

As for the photo, now its can see in my constant announcement of the sale on the Russian website

Ukraine is an independent state with its own laws. In Russia, the seller can not transfer money from Paypal to the account in a Russian bank. The real full-fledged branches of foreign banks in Russia are prohibited.

Of course, law as a column. Its difficult to overstep, but it is easy to get around. But this requires an extra money which increases the final cost and bad for everyone

Direct transfer of money to the seller's bank account is not as safe as Paypal

Finding and implementing the best solutions require some time

I wish you the best of luck - your products look good, are interesting and I certainly would be in the market for some Lecgacy Hornet intakes and perhaps a Skyray one as well.

I do hope you'll find a solution for the payment problem.

Not sure if the Academy F-4B really needs aftermarket intakes, but I also have a few DMold ones and will try to testfit them...

To my great regret, I have to get back to the subject of copy and original products.

Recently Dmitry (DMold) has written on the his website

http://dmold-modelworks.com/index.html

Without going into details, I can say that it is not nothing but a terrible and incredible mixture of sick imagination, exaggerated boasting and self-conceit, distortions of the facts and outright lies, the desire to humiliate the products of any other manufacturer and simply fear the advent of similar products from other manufacturers.

These dirty methods that Dmitri is permanently trying to maintain his position in the market, are disgusting and ridiculous for me. Because of them he has completely lost the respect of Russian modelers. But before its create a negative opinion about my products and spoil my reputation.

I hope my sets soon available, and everyone will be able to compare them with the Dmitry's sets

Moreover, I am now ready to send the samples of my products to the influential and respected people from the administration of the forum for an objective comparison of the products DMold. (Of course if Dmitry agree to send the samples of his similar products)

also the name and logo are original designs..XMold

Let me note, there are many companies that have the original and not similar to other virtual names and logos, but selling the very real pirated copies of the very real products of other manufacturers at the same time.

Also, for example, how many firms use the word in the title of Hobby-....., or ...-Press, or ...-Toy, or ...- Print, or ...-Craft?

Or, following the logic of Dmitry, Monogram has the right to accuse Hasegawa of stealing and copying of the Phantom kit, because it is also Phantom kit?

I plan to develop and expand my product range and do not want to make excuses every time in the non-existent sins

Regards, Alexander

So will you be selling outside of Russia soon?

Is Paypal changing their rules to allow Russian sellers?

You should post some pictures of your original patterns to prove that they are not copies.

Sir, please bring up examples to support your statements.

My products speak for themselves. I have created a great number of complete kits that were produced by Collect-Aire, Classic Airframes and others. I have created a myriad of accessories under my Dmold brand and under such brands as Meteor Productions and others. It is very nice that you too have created a couple of little parts. Congratulations!

Do not forget to mention that the A-6E intake you have is a cheap knock-off of my product made by a scalemodels.ru admin.

What about plain old money orders? If one is not in a rush one can wait. As for your statement of one can make similar products from scratch themselves so it is copying directly l feel no. If the product is completely 100% original but is the same then their is no infringement as there are only so many ways one can make a F-4 intake. Not taking sides here but if one would not accuse the other until there is proof of direct copying and in the same note if it is not then the other should not feel their nitch in the market threaten because someone else decides to make similar product. That is why we are suppose to have a free market system and have competitors to give us the consumer choice.

For goodness' sake at least finish your own product before accusing others of copying it?? And there is no 1/48 F-18C intakes in the Dmold product line? The product lines are bound to be similar as there are only so many popular jet kits without full length intakes.

Dmitri has made kits for CA and others, Alexander may have lived in the same room with him and seen everything, that is still no proof of copied products(Yes company name and logo are similar). As far as I'm concerned, unless I see real evidence(like comparison photos) it's just pure bad mouthing from Dmold. In fact it doesn't even matter if XMold can indeed only produce inferior products, I'd like to have the best manufacturer produce everything that I need, but it will never happen.

Sir, you still did not bring up any examples of your statements. Do it now, please.

As for your products, - do not try to deceive a community please. There are no statements in a story on the link above that items you produce are copies of my past works.

This is a completely different story about who you are how you came to the business. And this story is very kindred with the dirty libel you published here above.

Ummm..not trying to be a buttinsky, but Dimitry, it does indeed sound like you're accusing him of stealing/copying your product when you say this " If you were to take a look at the product line, presented there it would not be difficult to notice that this line basically copies the DMold line." After reading it a few times I think you mean that his line follows the same product list as yours, but that's not illegal or even unethical. In fact it's common (look at Tamiya, Dragon and that other company with their P-51, they try to keep up with trends). If you as you say "did not keep any professional secrets from him" and he took that knowledge and started producing his own products, well that's on you as I see it. That is the reason some companies make some employees sign "propriety information" clauses so one can not quit a company and go somewhere else to use what they've learned. But as I see it, that's not how this went down. Am I wrong? It is a little "interesting" that this looks like a pattern of accusing piracy without proof. With the Rhino products, you did eventually start showing evidence and Alexander acknowleges that. But here, you just seem to say that you knew the guy, taught him what you knew, and felt he's not good enough to produce a good quality product because of what his skills were in the past. Just as a casual outside observer, it seems a little thin at this time and sort of petty. At least until you come out with some proof of piracy. Otherwise, like you say, let your products do the talking for you and let the chips fall where they may.

Just my opinion anyway.
