Here is my second. Also a Monogram 1/48 F-4C with Superscale decals. Both are OOB except for the decals. Neither will EVER win a IPMS award. I was high on pain meds (legit injury) and think I made far too many errors on them when I built and painted them. Like the over weathering. Both models are now on the lowest shelf in the display room.

That Corsair is awesome. I love the subject matter and the decal choice. One question: Is there a chance that it was at least semi gloss?

Exhausted,

Thanks for the compliment. Much appreciated. In regards to your question, yes, there is a chance it was semi-gloss. The one photo I found of this pic made it look pretty flat to my four eyes. Of course, it could've been the photo's exposure and the airframe was in fact semi-gloss. To my eyes it looked pretty beaten up and flat, so, that's what I went with. That and I only have flat...

Anyway, I'm glad you like her. Thanks for lookin'!

Cheers,

-O

This Vampire ******DOES NOT COUNT AS A ENTRY**** as its a re-build of a old Mk5 Classic airframes build I did several years ago. However the Leading Edge decals that I used on the two entries looked so good I HAD to re-do my Vamp.

Aslo shown are the class photos of everything (almost) that 438 flew. Otter, Kiowa and Griffon.
