ijozic
The model looks nice, but there are some loadout problems. An RAF Tornado with a mixed HARM and ALARM ARM missile load? The RAF doesn't use HARMs. Plus, the port ECM pod looks like the Cerberus one which is used by the German IDS Tornados, AFAIK. The RAF used Sky Shadow pods. spike7451
Very nice job of a dog of a kit & as pointed out the are a lot of issues with it,the are also some more; 1-ALARM missiles were not in service when this particular scheme used by 9sqn was in service,ALARMS came into service in 1991 at the start of the Gulf War. (I was involved in the trials at RAF Bruggen when they did) The white tail was a trial carried out to aviod mid air collisions way before that.(ALARM's are also gray, not white. 2-Undercarraige & wheel bays are gray, not white. 3-We do not use the refueling pods nor Cerebus pod. 4-Nor do we use HARM's. 5-Only the middle bit of the windscreen in stinted gray, not the whole thing 5-Inner face of the BOZ-107 is the wrong way round, the sloping side faces out otherwise the flares would hit the aircraft when they are fired. Other than that, nice model let down by bad research of the subject by HB.. Merv (RAF Tornado Armourer)
centuaryseries
In spite of the aforementioned flaws thats a nice clean build of what is indeed a dog of a kit, well done.
