Ok, after a long delay I have finally got some work to show.

I'll be using decals from Starfighter, set 72-102 F4B-4 Part 1. I've selected an F4B-4 from VB-5 assigned to the USS Lexington in 1934.

Eh, rigging these interwar fighters isn't nearly as bad as the WW1 aircraft. I tried out Starfighter decals photo etch rigging. Kind of mixed feelings, it is definately easier than my usual cut wire method, but it isn't as stiff. Maybe just a matter of technique but it doesn't look as crisp to me with some of the wires looking kind of wavy.

With a day to spare I'm done.
